The Lofton Hotel, part of Marcus Theatres Corporation, invites you to join as a Front Desk Agent in an upscale downtown setting. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring warm welcomes, smooth check-ins, and seamless departures for guests visiting Minnesota’s vibrant entertainment district.

The role emphasizes guest relations, multitasking, and accurate handling of transactions, with opportunities to grow within Marcus Hotels & Resorts across properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior work experience in a guest/customer service position preferred.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Willingness to work varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences from check-in to checkout.
• Master reservations, inquiries and complaints using hotel systems.
• Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure and resolve guest issues effectively.

What will you be doing?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior work experience in a guest/customer service position required, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Able to work independently, has good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
