Job Title: Prod. Manufacturing Operator 3 WELDER

Job Description: Manufacture products and components according to product specifications, drawings, BOMs, work orders, and/or run schedules.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform setup and change-over operations of assigned equipment, including die change-overs and metal steel coil change-overs.
2. Ensure product specifications and quality by following established procedures, SOPs, maintaining proper settings, and quality standards.
3. Verify product specifications and quality through inspection, observation, and measurement.
4. Adjust machine/equipment performance to meet specifications and quality standards.
5. Troubleshoot machinery, equipment, and product issues related to quality or operation.
6. Utilize hand and power tools, cranes, and other material handling devices for manufacturing assistance.
7. Fabricate and assemble sectional and rolling door sections and components as required.
8. Perform operator preventative maintenance as scheduled.
9. Must be able to weld.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and converting fractions.
• Effective use of measuring tools.
• Welding experience is required.

Education:

• Preferred High School Diploma or GED.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Frequent bending, pulling/pushing, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly lift up to 35 pounds.
