Position: Production Operator

Pay: $25 per hour plus $1 shift differential

Shift and Hours: 2nd shift, 2pm - 10:30pm

Role Focus: Production Operator

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to inputs and the creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience in taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers, including operating machinery and equipment, and packaging the final product. About Purina Animal Nutrition

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business, serving producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate nutritional products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices for self and others.

4. Ensures all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
3. Basic computer and math skills.
4. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
5. Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
6. Strong collaboration and communication skills, always respectful.

Preferred Experience:

1. Over 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
2. Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
2. Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
3. Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
4. Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, possibly with dust and chemicals.
5. Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.
