Job summary

The Purchasing Specialist at Pechanga Resort Casino supports the Purchasing Manager and team with daily FSM tasks and reporting. You will collaborate with Accounts Payable and Warehouse Receiving to resolve vendor invoice issues and maintain purchasing accuracy in a fast-paced casino environment.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed at the Temecula campus. GED or AA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures
• Strong math skills including discounts and percentages
• Experience with Lawson-Infor purchasing system is preferred
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Daily system maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve vendor invoice issues
• Coordinate with Warehouse manager to resolve purchasing issues
• Create and run purchasing reports
• Assist with Vendor Contracts and tracking Rebates
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive assets
• Communicate with suppliers regarding product specifications
• Meet deadlines; may work longer hours as needed
