Job summary

Golden Star Technology (GST) is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator in Cerritos, CA. You will manage orders, coordinate procurement, negotiate pricing, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and manage purchase orders with suppliers and vendors.
• Coordinate procurement and fulfillment to ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance.
• Track order status, shipments, backorders, and delivery schedules.
• Process and distribute purchase orders, invoices, and related documents.
• Review purchasing reports and ad hoc data to support decisions.
• Communicate and execute customer requirements including specs, quantities, split shipments, and multiple locations.
• Serve as liaison between suppliers, customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
• Resolve discrepancies while maintaining high customer service.
• Maintain accurate records in company systems and purchasing platforms.
