Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Specialist, Business Enablement, Value Generation & Optimization, to advance procurement and operational excellence across its Operations network. You will partner with the Manager to identify and execute cross-site initiatives, driving efficiency and P&L impact while building strategic leadership capabilities.

You will own analytical workstreams, project tracking, and stakeholder engagement, helping develop business cases and ensuring timely delivery of value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, operations, supply chain, or business enablement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project coordination activities and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize data.
• Experience with spend analysis, process improvement, or category management is preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication across a matrixed organization.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Smartsheet, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-site value generation and harmonization initiatives.
• Gather data to analyze spend, process, and operational data for cost avoidance and efficiency gains.
• Assist in developing business cases, opportunity assessments, and leadership recommendations.
• Coordinate progress of initiatives, track milestones, benefits, risks, and dependencies.
• Support tail spend optimization through data gathering and solution coordination.
• Contribute to catalog strategies with adoption activities and gap identification.
• Support change management with communications, training logistics, and adoption tracking.
• Identify process improvements and standardization opportunities for scalable operations.
• Create dashboards, reporting tools, and program documentation for visibility.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across procurement and operations.
