Job summary

Inter Miami CF LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to architect and lead the end-to-end S2P function across MBU and related ventures. You will enforce the Club’s cost control framework, build vendor management infrastructure, and drive measurable cost savings across multi-entity operations.

You will report to the MBU CFO and partner with Legal, department leads, and finance to shape procurement policy, supplier risk, and long-term sourcing strategy in a high-growth sports environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
• Proven track record authoring and enforcing procurement policy in a scaling org.
• Experience delivering quantified cost savings through competitive sourcing and vendor consolidation.
• Deep experience with source-to-pay technology platforms (e.g., Tipalti, Dynamics 365).
• Knowledge of accounts payable operations and vendor master data governance.
• Experience managing direct reports and developing AP function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to enforce policy cross-functionally.
• Strong organizational skills; manage high-volume vendor/contract portfolio.
• Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder sourcing initiatives from scoping to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Author, publish, and enforce the Club’s Cost Control Policy Framework and related standards.
• Exercise stop-work/stop-payment authority for policy exceptions with CFO escalation.
• Enforce spend discipline and remediate policy exceptions with cost center leaders.
• Design and deliver procurement policy training for department leaders and approvers.
• Establish and maintain an exceptions process with visibility into compliance reporting.
• Lead all RFI, RFQ, RFp activity and competitive sourcing programs.
• Develop category strategies for major spend areas (merchandise, services, travel).
• Drive cost savings through consolidation and favorable terms.
• Manage vendor master data, onboarding, validations, and renewals.
• Oversee PO governance, no PO no pay, and system configuration for spend control.
• Direct AP operations end-to-end and maintain AP subledger integrity.
• Establish regular spend analytics, KPI reporting, and cost containment tracking.
• Partner with Legal and department leads on contract review and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Finance on treasury, budget, and reporting alignment.
• Support cross-entity procurement and MFP scope expansion.
