Job summary

TEKsystems in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Sr. IT Manager for Procurement Transformation to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives modernizing procurement processes and optimizing operating models.

You will partner with senior leaders and IT teams to deliver measurable outcomes such as labor cost avoidance, productivity improvements, and scalable growth, with a focus on automation and KPI tracking. This on-site, permanent role requires 10+ years in procurement or transformation and 5+ years

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in procurement, business transformation, or related fields.
5+ years of management experience.
Strong experience partnering with IT delivery teams.
Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presence.
Strong analytical skills with experience defining and tracking KPIs.

Responsibilities

Define and execute procurement transformation initiatives aligned with business strategy and IT roadmaps.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency through automation and process redesign.
Build compelling business cases with clear ROI, labor, and operational impact.
Act as an advisor to senior leaders, translating business needs into technology-enabled solutions.
Track, validate, and communicate benefits realization.
Present progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.
Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with technology and vendor partners.
Facilitate and participate in workshops to identify opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
Ensure delivery excellence across schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
Maintain a prioritized pipeline of high-value transformation use cases and a rolling 12-18 month roadmap.
