Job summary

Welch's, based in Waltham, MA, seeks a Manager, Procurement Technology & Intelligence to lead a new capability at the intersection of technology, data, and procurement. You will stabilize procure-to-pay, improve data, and turn information into actionable savings, supplier, risk, and compliance insights.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing and will architect Welch's Procurement Control Tower, leveraging AI and automation with governance and security.

Qualifications

• Systems thinking across procurement, data, controls and tech.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear tech requirements.
• Analytical mindset from data to insights and actions.
• Hands-on builder establishing new capabilities and processes.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize procure-to-pay and PL2P processes with governance and metrics.
• Translate business needs to tech requirements with IT/ERP teams.
• Own procurement workflows, access, controls, and documentation.
• Improve spend, supplier and invoice data quality and standards.
• Develop analytics identifying savings, price dispersion and risks.
• Architect a Procurement Control Tower integrating ERP data.
• Apply AI and automation with proper governance and security.
• Build dashboards and exception workflows for faster issue resolution.
• Collaborate to define high-value use cases and embed analytics.
• Lead testing, training, adoption, and change communications.
