Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Procurement/Systems Specialist to serve as a systems expert in procuring non-routine equipment and services. The role acts as a liaison between end users and vendors, utilizing PeopleSoft for requisition and receiving processes and coordinating product evaluations and data analysis.

The specialist leads system projects, aligns business requirements to system capabilities, and supports vendor relationships within current contracts and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years purchasing or inventory/equipment management experience.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft and Windows-based office applications preferred.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize duties and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide system expert support to end users in procuring non-routine equipment and goods and services.
• Coordinate product evaluations, collect and analyze data, and manage vendor relationships.
• Lead assigned system projects and provide liaison between end users and vendors, including Cath Lab system oversight.
