Job summary

Illinois Comptroller seeks a Procurement Systems Specialist to oversee procurement systems and programs. You will work with BidBuy, the Illinois Procurement Gateway, and program managers to plan changes, maintain interfaces, and ensure up-to-date information across systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with state agencies and vendors. This is a full-time, on-site position within the Illinois government.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree from an accredited college or university.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain procurement systems and programs.
• Coordinate with BidBuy, IPG, and program managers to enhance workflows.
• Perform unit testing and develop reports for metrics and decision making.
• Update content on procurement system websites and provide user support.
