Job summary

Innovative Packaging Solution, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist I in Temecula, CA to source, evaluate, negotiate, and purchase materials for production. You will ensure vendor performance, cost efficiency, and quality across print operations.

The role requires knowledge of printing processes, substrates, and prepress workflows, with strong supply chain and procurement skills. On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of procurement experience, ideally in printing, packaging, or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of prepress processes and print production.
• Proven negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical abilities, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with procurement systems, inventory tools, project management tools, ERP, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Procure needed materials for customer orders and production.
• Develop relationships with print vendors, prepress providers, and specialty partners.
• Collaborate with packaging to understand technical requirements for each job.
• Review and report vendor performance, lead times, compliance, and service reliability.
• Troubleshoot material- or vendor-related production issues as they arise.
• Track procurement metrics such as pricing changes, savings, and usage trends.
• Ensure accuracy of POs, quotes, and vendor agreements.
• Maintain detailed records of material specs and order histories.
