Job summary

Employment Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, inventory availability, and sourcing. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in procurement and purchasing.

Responsibilities include sourcing materials, analyzing quotes, issuing purchase orders, maintaining records, and monitoring supplier performance. Knowledge of ISO 9001, FDA, GMP, OSHA, and EPA requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred, or 3–5 years of related procurement experience.
• Experience with purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and purchasing/inventory systems.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish a plus.
• CPP certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, products, supplies, and services.
• Request and analyze quotes; negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders; monitor orders through delivery.
• Maintain vendor, purchasing, and inventory records.
• Monitor inventory and material availability to support production.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with vendor visits and supplier audits.
• Prepare purchasing reports and monthly KPIs.
• Follow company procedures and ISO 9001, FDA, GMP, OSHA, and EPA requirements.
