Job summary

Mars is seeking a Specialist, Commercial Operations - Raws Accelerator in Chicago to support procurement, supplier operations, and inbound logistics. You will maintain supplier data, drive contracts, resolve invoices, and monitor performance to balance cost, service, quality and continuity of supply.

With 3+ years in procurement or related fields, you will use Excel and visualization tools to inform decisions, while collaborating with sourcing, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience in procurement, inbound logistics, supply chain operations, or vendor management.
• Experience with raw materials or packaging materials procurement is preferred.
• Strong data literacy with Excel and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; French also required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ERP systems and ensure accuracy of vendor, material, and item records.
• Create and manage contracts for Sourcing Managers and identify process improvements.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor inventory, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy to drive results.
• Manage a portfolio of raw materials and support procurement-related issues.
• Act as logistics contact for suppliers and coordinate with QA and Sourcing teams.
