Job summary

Little Caesars Enterprises, Inc. in Detroit, MI is seeking an experienced procurement professional to negotiate and manage purchasing of products. You will develop and execute actionable procurement strategies, build strategic supplier relationships, and drive cost savings and profitability.

Lead cross-functional efforts, monitor supplier performance, and participate in budgeting and contingency planning while traveling to supplier locations and industry events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement or related discipline.
• At least five years of purchasing experience in the food industry with exposure to pre-portioned convenience/specialty foods.
• Deep understanding of raw material commodity markets.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities; travel to supplier locations and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to negotiate favorable pricing and terms with approved suppliers.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and monitor commodity market trends.
• Serve as the procurement subject matter expert for assigned commodities.
• Develop supplier performance strategies to maximize total value.
• Identify and source suppliers to meet current and future needs.
• Collaborate with internal customers, suppliers, and franchisees to optimize value.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities with new technologies and prepare contingency plans.
