Job summary

Central Research, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Analyst in Fairfax, VA to support federal government contracts. The role focuses on research, data analysis, policy support, procurement reporting, and process improvements.

The candidate will develop analytical work products, maintain documentation, and assist with audits and procurement systems. A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience are preferred, with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, economics, procurement, analytics, or a related field.
• 4 years of relevant professional experience in analysis, procurement, contracting, program support, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust Determination.

Responsibilities

• Research federal procurement regulations, policies, procedures, market information, and acquisition practices.
• Collect, organize, validate, and analyze procurement data.
• Develop spreadsheets, reports, charts, and analytical summaries.
• Assist with procurement workload, cycle-time, milestone, and performance analysis.
• Support development and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, templates, and SOPs.
