Job summary

Morrison Foerster in Los Angeles (also Denver) is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the firm's procurement and contracts function. You will issue purchase orders, manage spend approvals, coordinate signatures, and maintain vendor and contract records.

You’ll work with internal stakeholders, respond to requests via ServiceNow, and look for ways to streamline processes, including using AI tools to boost efficiency and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in procurement, purchasing, or operations support.
• Strong analytical and information-gathering skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with procurement and workflow systems like ServiceNow and e-signature tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and route spend approvals.
• Source and procure designated products and supplies; liaise with vendors.
• Respond to internal questions on purchasing processes and requests.
• Manage business card ordering end-to-end including proofs and delivery.
• Triaged and resolved procurement requests via the ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Identify opportunities to streamline tasks and adopt AI tools to improve efficiency.
