Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Procurement Specialist to execute source-to-contract processes and support supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives. You will assist with supplier management activities, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to risk mitigation to safeguard operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Category Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver value and maintain supplier excellence across sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chain or related function.
Experience in source-to-contract, requisition-to-pay, and negotiations.
Experience enabling procurement processes including source-to-contract planning and cost assessment.

Responsibilities

Assist with source-to-contract procurement processes aligned to category strategy and business goals.
Ensure compliance with procurement policy and support supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives.
Drive supplier management activities aligned to SRM strategy and manage site-owned relationships.
Support risk mitigation efforts and provide input on supplier performance and procurement risks.
Maintain excellence in contract execution from sourcing to payment and identify process inefficiencies.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects within procurement operations.
