Zusammenfassung

ChemRite CoPac is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to coordinate pricing and delivery of raw materials and components to support production schedules. The role emphasizes supplier pricing negotiation and maintaining cost control, acting as a backup to the purchasing function when needed.

Responsibilities include sourcing materials, placing and tracking orders, confirming delivery dates and pricing, and ensuring materials are available to meet production.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 18 years old; US citizen or eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work before 8 AM and after 5 PM, and/or on weekends
• Read, speak and comprehend English
• Previous purchasing experience preferred

Aufgaben

• Monitor pricing and update vendor price lists
• Create MRP reports, place purchase orders, confirm delivery date and pricing
• Source new raw materials and coordinate inbound shipments
• Route substitutions through quality change control; verify COAs and recertification statements
• Monitor flow and arrival of components
• Place purchase orders for tankers and communicate delivery schedules to operations/planning
• Ensure components are available to support production; report issues to Plant Manager/Sales Director
• Report receipt of materials and production numbers to customers at requested times
• Provide inventory counts to customers if requested
• Create job cost worksheets for turnkey客户 based on order quantity; monitor costs
• Match AP vouchers with PO receipts and file paperwork
