The role executes approved category strategies, maintains contract and purchasing compliance, and ensures material and service availability at target cost, quality, and delivery. The candidate should have an Associate's degree (bachelor’s preferred), 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain, strong Excel and ERP/D365 experience, and the ability to analyze data

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor's preferred in supply chain, business, purchasing, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of purchasing, materials, supply chain or manufacturing customer-service experience required.
• Working proficiency with Excel and ERP purchasing processes; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze supplier delivery, open orders, inventory and cost data; communicate escalations effectively.
• Strong ethics, ownership, attention to detail, service mindset, collaboration across multiple plant priorities.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary purchasing execution partner for designated facilities and their Operations leadership; understand production schedules and constraints.
• Execute sourcing strategies, negotiated contracts, approved supplier lists, pricing, and specifications; escalate exceptions as needed.
• Collaborate daily with Operations, Planning, Inventory, Quality, Finance/AP and Category Management; maintain clear escalation paths.
• Procure-to-pay discipline: convert approved demand into purchase orders; confirm price, terms, quantities, delivery dates, coding and approvals.
• Contract and policy compliance: use approved suppliers, buying channels, and delegated authority; flag off-contract spend for resolution.
• Supplier execution: secure order acknowledgements, maintain promise dates, expedite material, resolve shortages and discrepancies.
• Inventory and working capital: review demand, lead times, safety stock, open-PO exposure, and opportunities to lower inventory days.
• Supplier performance: maintain delivery and defect data; support corrective actions and scorecards for top suppliers.
• Cost and P&L impact: validate pricing, identify leakage and savings opportunities; present to leadership.
• Data and systems: maintain supplier/item/pricing/lead-time/PO data in ERP; support standardized workflows and reporting.
