Job summary

Benchmark Electronics is seeking a driven procurement professional in Minnesota to manage production, equipment, and MRO materials. You will negotiate with vetted vendors, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain accurate orders while supporting the master production schedule.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, data integrity, strong communication, and collaboration across teams. APICS certification is a plus and relevant experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• APICS CSCP/CPIM certification is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) and procurement practices.
• Experience in electronics and related agreements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes customer purchase orders for compliance to contract terms and company policy.
• Executes MRP on a weekly basis and monitors materials pipeline for timely delivery.
• Attains inventory goals for assigned customers or commodities.
• Ensures materials availability to support production per the Master Production Schedule.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to reduce materials costs and risk.
