Job summary

Ipsen, Inc. is seeking a Buyer I to support procurement of goods and services with a focus on raw materials, tools, machine parts, and electrical supplies.

Under supervision of the Purchasing Manager, you will assist with contract management, PO preparation, and supplier communications to ensure on-time delivery and quality. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain and at least 2 years’ experience in purchasing or production planning in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field required.
• Minimum 2+ years purchasing, production planning or similar experience in manufacturing.
• Professional certifications in supply chain (CSCP, CPSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process purchase orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor deliveries to meet production needs.
• Coordinate with QA on disposition of defective parts and supplier feedback.
• Support contract management, negotiations and PO preparation as needed.
• Expedite critical build items and communicate real-time with production teams.
