Job summary

Ipsen USA is seeking a Buyer I to support procurement of goods and services with a focus on raw materials, tools, and components. Under Purchasing Manager guidance, you will prepare purchase orders, assist with contract management, and align purchasing activities with Ipsen’s strategies.

You will collaborate across production, quality, and engineering to ensure on-time deliveries, maintain supplier relationships, and drive cost improvements while upholding compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years purchasing or production planning experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process purchase orders accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with QA to disposition defective parts and supplier feedback.
• Expedite procurement to meet production demands and Ipsen's strategies.
• Maintain 90% on-time delivery performance.
• Develop supplier relationships and communicate across departments.
