Ipsen USA is seeking a Buyer I to support procurement of raw materials, tools, machine parts and other supplies under the direction of Purchasing Manager. You will assist with contract management and preparation of purchase orders to meet budget and timeline goals.

Qualificações

• Purchasing related knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with procurement processes preferred.
• Experience working with suppliers and internal customers is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately enters and processes purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Record purchase order acknowledgments and update PO discrepancies.
• Works with quality assurance to render disposition on defective parts and supplier feedback.
• Expedite and perform procurement activities to align with purchasing strategies.
• Maintains a 90%+ on-time average as set by department head.
• Communicates with vendors to meet production requirements via expediting, rescheduling, or changes to orders.
• Selects products for purchase through knowledge, history, and supplier input.
• Communicates effectively with departments to coordinate quality and delivery of material.
• Support line operations and collaborate with managers and engineers on procurement needs.
