Ipsen USA is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to assist the procurement team in acquiring goods and services for operations. You will prepare POs, maintain records, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely delivery within budget and policy guidelines.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• Experience in a corporate procurement environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) based on requisitions from various departments.
• Research and evaluate POs and supplier communications to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including invoices, purchase agreements, and supplier contracts. Communicate with vendors and internal teams to confirm order details, resolve discrepancies, and track deliveries.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance from feedback of other buyers.
• Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
