Job summary

Aescape is seeking a Procurement Specialist to own procurement across multiple programs and product lines, managing 30+ suppliers and 400+ components. You’ll handle supplier onboarding, PO management, cost reductions, and material readiness for new product introductions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in global hardware procurement, strong mechatronics knowledge, and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) and Arena PLM. This remote role is based in Philadelphia with monthly NYC travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in global procurement or supply chain in hardware/manufacturing.
• Technical knowledge of mechatronic components.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycles.
• Experience with ERP systems for PO management.
• Experience with a PLM system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Vendor Management: manage POs for finished goods, parts, tooling and direct spend; maintain supplier relationships; drive onboarding and qualification of suppliers.
• Cost Analysis & Negotiation: maintain pricing/lead times; create RFQs; support make/buy decisions and BOM cost tracking.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): drive sourcing for new products; ensure material readiness; plan phase-in/phase-out; track long-lead components.
