Job summary

Aescape is seeking a Procurement Specialist to own procurement across multiple programs and product lines. You will manage PO issuance, supplier onboarding, and cost-down initiatives while partnering with engineering and manufacturing to ensure clear-to-build readiness for new products.

The role emphasizes data-driven sourcing, cross-functional collaboration, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced hardware startup. Remote in Boston with monthly NYC travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in global procurement or supply chain in high-volume hardware/manufacturing.
• Technical knowledge of mechatronic components (metals, molding, PCBAs).
• Familiar with product development lifecycles and design/document change control.

Responsibilities

• Own PO issuance and management for finished goods, tooling, and direct spend.
• Maintain supplier relationships and onboard new suppliers.
• Identify supplier risks and drive shortages and delivery issue resolutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, finance, and product teams.
