Job summary

IERUS Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a full-time Purchaser to manage purchasing of products and materials and to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS policies. You will work with Requestors, process PRs in ERP, verify funding, and maintain supplier relationships to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent DoD procurement experience.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS compliance and supplier evaluation.
• Ability to read and purchase from drawings.
• Experience in electrical and hardware component purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Process purchasing of products and materials.
• Review and process Purchase Requests per policy.
• Coordinate with Requestors on complete orders.
• Process PRs in ERP with proper documentation.
• Verify funding in ERP before submission.
• Maintain Approved Supplier List and add new suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier quality and reliability.
• Conduct annual supplier evaluations.
• Coordinate RFPs/RFQs with suppliers.
• Maintain procurement files and ensure compliance.
