Job summary

EPS Corporation is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support DoD and Navy logistics through end-to-end procurement and contracting. The role requires strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, experience with government vendors, and the ability to manage procurement from planning to closeout.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of procurement experience, and DAWIA or equivalent certification. DoD security clearance eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of procurement or contracting experience (DoD/Navy preferred).
  • Knowledge of FAR and contracting lifecycle (FAR/DFARS).
  • Experience with procurement systems (SAP, Deltek Costpoint or similar).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • DAWIA Certification (Contracting Level I/II) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-award and post-award procurement functions including planning, solicitation, evaluation, and contract award.
  • Develop procurement packages, SOWs, and IGCEs.
  • Review procurement requests for FAR/DFARS compliance.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery, and contract terms to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Administer contracts from award through closeout and monitor performance.
  • Prepare reports and coordinate with program managers and logistics teams.
