Job summary

Prince is seeking a Procurement Associate based in Augusta, GA to manage vendor evaluation, policy enforcement, and contract support for construction projects. This role requires collaboration with project teams and adherence to procurement standards.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or construction management and at least 1 year of related construction experience. Proficiency in MS Office and JD Edwards E1 World is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or construction management preferred.
• 1+ year related construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Qualifies and evaluates vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for recommendation to the Procurement Manager or others for use on projects.
• Communicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams.
• Collects and maintains procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
• Maintains the records of goods ordered and received; supports Accounts Payable reconciliation.
• Helps in the creation and negotiation of contracts under the supervision and guidance of a procurement manager.
• Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
• Facilitates RFPs and collaborates with preconstruction team on new opportunities and current projects.
