BASIS Ed in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist to support school procurement operations. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local requirements and centralizing purchasing for BASIS schools in Arizona, Texas, DC, and Louisiana.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office Mon, Wed, Fri; remote Tue/Thu) and requires in-office attendance, with typical hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years in procurement/supply management
• Solid understanding of supply chain concepts and supplier analysis methods
• Experience with internal controls and RFP processes

Responsibilities

• Meet purchasing needs for BASIS schools while ensuring procurement compliance.
• Train and guide schools on state/federal/local procurement requirements.
• Collaborate with accounting and partners to answer questions and support the business.
• Assist with transitioning to E-procurement software.
• Evaluate suppliers for optimal contracts considering cost, delivery, quality, and inventory.
• Participate in vendor negotiations and data research to create best purchasing terms.
• Maintain vendor Certificate of Insurance records.
