Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Procurement Specialist 5 for a Data Center EPC project in La Porte, Indiana. This onsite role supports sourcing for the Finance, Accounting and Procurement group on an 18-month W2 assignment, with pay between $47–$50 per hour.

You will engage with senior stakeholders to define category strategies, lead sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure budgeting and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement experience and RFQ/RFP execution.
• Experience with cost analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Working knowledge of supply chain management and procurement techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior stakeholders to define category strategies and sourcing plans.
• Act as SME on procurement policies and translate drivers into sourcing decisions.
• Lead key sourcing activities for projects with timely delivery and budgeting alignment.

Our client, Data Center construction EPC is seeking a Procurement Specialist 5 to join their team.

As a Procurement Specialist 5, you will be part of the Finance, Accounting and Procurement department supporting sourcing and procurement for project needs.

Job Title & Location

Job Title: Procurement Specialist. Location: La Porte, Indiana (Onsite). 18 Months on W2. Pay Range: $47 - $50/hour.

What's the Job?

• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and define and implement category strategy, plans, and processes for sourcing goods and services.
• Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices, translating business drivers into actionable sourcing decisions.
• Lead key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment to budgeting with appropriate risk management.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers while identifying and qualifying potential new partners.
• Monitor compliance with the sourcing process and provide procurement guidance across each stage, including building sourcing pipelines and category/sub-category strategy.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, including purchase order management and RFQ/RFP execution.
• Experience with cost analysis and data-driven decision-making to support sourcing strategy and project outcomes.
• Working knowledge of supply chain management and procurement/sourcing techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, etc.) and data analysis tools such as Power BI.
• Bluebeam required to be available on the laptop for the role.
