Job summary

Nebius, listed on Nasdaq and headquartered in Amsterdam, seeks an experienced Procurement Specialist to support our global SAAS and indirect categories. You will lead competitive bidding, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with Finance, Security, Legal and internal teams to optimise supplier performance and ensure policy compliance.

You'll manage multiple procurement projects, formulate RFPs, analyze bids, and drive cost efficiency while mitigating risk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional procurement experience, with mandatory expertise in SAAS engagements, professional services, and a strong understanding of the associated service categories.
  • Proven expertise in procurement processes, negotiation, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Solid knowledge of business and third-party services purchasing, with a strong commercial focus on project-based contracts and service requirements.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Responsible for negotiation of contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks. Collaborates with both internal and external legal counsel, as applicable.

The role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialistto support our global activity, with a strong focus on SAAS, Corporate Services, and other indirect categories.
This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Security, Legal, and other internal teams, to drive cost efficiency, optimize supplier performance, and deliver value while ensuring compliance with company policies.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for administering and leading competitive bidding processes (RFPs), negotiating commercial terms (pricing and contractual), proposal analysis, commercial reports issuance, and evaluating and selecting suppliers in accordance with company policies primarily in the areas of Business & 3rd party Services Procurement for company needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluates and selects suppliers based on their ability to provide the goods/services and at costs consistent budgetary expectations.
  • Responsible for negotiation of contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks. Collaborates with both internal and external legal counsel, as applicable.
  • Analyzes trends and makes corresponding sourcing decisions.
  • Participates in meetings with suppliers to rectify issues and to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting and are aware of the requirements and expectations.
  • Perform work according to department KPI goals and other duties as may be assigned.

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional procurement experience, with mandatory expertise in SAAS engagements, professional services, and a strong understanding of the associated service categories.
  • Proven expertise in procurement processes, negotiation skills, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Solid knowledge of business and third-party services purchasing, with a strong commercial focus on project-based contracts and service requirements.
  • Experience working in a high-performance, complex organizational environment with multiple systems and stakeholders, including compliance, safety, quality, and environmental management.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Self-motivated professionals with excellent planning, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including advanced use of Excel and the full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with the ZIP procurement system is preferred.
