Concrete Strategies Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to blend procurement duties with data-driven analytics to improve cost, availability, and efficiency on concrete projects. The role ensures timely delivery of materials and develops reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision-making.

In this hybrid position, you will negotiate with suppliers, manage inventory, and collaborate with operations, estimating, and finance to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain or construction procurement.
• Experience with concrete construction materials.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing of concrete-related materials including ready-mix, rebar, formwork systems, embeds, and jobsite consumables.
• Coordinate with project teams to understand material needs and schedules.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing.
• Analyze material usage and pricing trends.
• Develop reporting tools using Excel and Python.
• Automate procurement workflows and systems.
• Monitor inventory, lead times, and deliveries.
• Support jobsites with logistics challenges.
• Collaborate with operations, estimating, and finance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Reports To: Procurement Manager or Director of Procurement

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist supports concrete construction operations by managing both procurement activities and supply chain analytics. This hybrid role is evenly split between buying (materials, equipment, and services) and data-driven analysis to improve cost, availability, and operational efficiency. The position ensures timely delivery of concrete materials, forming systems, rebar, and related construction supplies while developing reporting tools and systems to enhance visibility and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing of concrete-related materials including ready-mix, rebar, formwork systems, embeds, and jobsite consumables
• Coordinate with project teams to understand material needs and schedules
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing
• Analyze material usage and pricing trends
• Develop reporting tools using Excel and Python
• Automate procurement workflows and systems

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with scheduling and cost tracking
