Job summary

Concrete Strategies Inc. is seeking a project support role to assist in initial project setup, cost tracking, and daily site activities. You will help manage job cost reporting, sequencing, and coordination with the GC/Owner to ensure on-time execution.

The position requires 0–5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or engineering is recommended. Travel to jobsites is expected, with significant site presence and a proactive, detail‑oriented work style.

  • 0-5 years of experience in construction or project support roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction management or engineering recommended.
  • Basic knowledge of construction principles/practices required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with urgency and adaptability.
  • Energetic, motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness and ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, and access multiple floors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in project setup and buyout, and support cost tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in project sequencing, scheduling, and cost reporting.
  • Assist with invoice coding and approval processes.
  • Coordinate with general contractor/owner and CSI Operations manager on resources.
  • Monitor safety compliance and quality control during production.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

This position serves as support for operations on the jobs in which they are involved. Responsibilities range from participation in initial project set up and buyout, cost spread/estimate familiarity, job quantity tracking, on-site daily activity involvement, concrete material tracking, equipment and manpower productivity tracking, invoice approval, extra work ticket tracking, participation in job cost reporting, project safety compliance, quality control compliance, production analysis/tracking.

This position will require travel to jobsites, 80% travel is likely.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Job cost spread and estimate familiarity
  • Participation in project sequencing and scheduling
  • Participation in Project cost reporting
  • Invoice coding and approval
  • Coordination with GC/Owner
  • Coordination with CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resources

  • Ability to monitor construction schedules and advise on potential setbacks or issues.
  • Communicates expectations and importance of safety. Follows up and insures safety audits are completed accurately and timely. Identifies critical issues and assists in the development of improvement procedures.
Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements
  • 0-5 years of experience
  • Bachelors degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended.
  • Basic/General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
  • Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.
