Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Communicate orders, revisions and approvals of custom products to manufacturers.
  • Communicate with clients about their custom products and work to ensure satisfaction.
  • Edit product proof photos and artwork using Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Manage projects or components under supervision.
  • Color match digital colors and thread colors; perform quality checks on incoming products.
  • Monitor proofing progress and coordinate between design and manufacturing.
  • Participate in design meetings and propose improvements.
  • Communicate project statuses to clients and colleagues.
  • Purchase blank products from various manufacturers.
  • Manage Purchase Orders and accounting journal entries.

Job Summary

As Procurement Specialist at Custom Patch Hats, you’ll find yourself involved with several different parts of the business on a day to day basis. You will coordinate product development with our design team and our manufacturers, and facilitate production processes and timelines, working closely with operations teams.

The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills and attention to detail, and an interest in apparel or textiles.

Physical demands

Normal office environment, ability to sit, stand and operation of office equipment. You may be required to lift boxes up to 30 lbs., stand or move around throughout the day, as well as extended periods of sitting.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate orders, revisions and approvals of custom products to our manufacturers.
  • Communicate with our clients about their custom products and work with them to ensure their complete satisfaction.

  • Manages, with supervision, some projects or major project components as assigned.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience

Associate Degree in Business Management, Project Management, Design or Fashion and Textile Design, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. Or a Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Project Management, Design or Fashion and Textile Design, with at least 1 year of experience.

Skills

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Excellent attention to detail and an eye for color. Computer proficiency, particularly with spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Work effectively in a team environment and independently. Customer service, time management, and organizational skills are required. Problem solver, looks for solutions that work for the company and the customer.
