Job summary

LHH is assisting a client in High Point to fill a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist role. This contract position is fully onsite Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, paying $35-$40 per hour.

The role requires experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, ERP experience, and advanced Excel skills. A Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business administration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration/Management, or similar.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to analyze data.
• Adaptable and able to juggle multiple projects.
• Experience using ERP and advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUPs).

• Source and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, performance, availability, cost, and lead time
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements with existing supplier
• Send RFQ's to multiple suppliers when supporting new customers and product lines
• Create new supplier agreements showing clear contract terms
• Manage and track supplier performance to ensure internal and customer needs are being met
• Identify areas for process improvement and cost reductions
