Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom in Florida is seeking a skilled purchasing professional to support production schedules onsite Monday-Thursday with Friday remote. The role focuses on evaluating RFQs, issuing POs, and coordinating with planners and engineering.

You will read BOMs, monitor supplier performance, and chase delayed orders while maintaining records and following company procedures. A background in electronics, aerospace, or automotive supply is a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing purchasing
• Experience with BOMs and MRP/ERP systems (IFS a plus)
• Experience in electronics purchasing and aerospace/automotive standards is preferred
• Strong organization and communication with supplier follow-up

Responsibilities

• Review and process MRP-generated requisitions, prioritizing materials based on production needs.
• Prepare and evaluate RFQs, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and issue and track purchase orders.
• Read and interpret BOMs to ensure accurate purchasing decisions.
• Monitor supplier performance, follow up on delayed orders, and communicate potential supply issues.
• Collaborate with planners and engineering teams to support production schedules.
