Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a purchasing professional to own end-to-end purchase order processing in a hybrid environment (3 days in office, 2 days remote). The role requires Minnesota or Wisconsin residency and 3+ years in healthcare purchasing, with an associate degree or equivalent experience.

Ideal candidates will have hospital supply chain exposure and a strong focus on timely pricing accuracy, vendor coordination, and patient-focused service.

• Manages GHX interface, match exceptions and open order reporting while providing high-level customer service.

Position Summary

Owns purchase order processing from start to finish. Owns price discrepancy resolution regarding non-contract products and ensure correct price is loaded into ERP system. Obtains the right products, equipment and services at the right time for the right department at the right price and in the right quantity; sources and secures substitute product in the event of a product and/or market shortage; creates awareness and acts on product specific availability concerns; owns procurement related order resolution such as GHX interface, match exceptions and open order reporting and provides a high level of customer service.

Must be Minnesota or Wisconsin Resident

Associate's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of three years purchasing experience preferably in health care. Business or hospital supply chain experience desirable.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
