Job summary

EBARA Technologies seeks an Assistant Purchasing & SOM Manager to lead procurement and order-entry operations at our Sacramento site. You will supervise Buyers I–III, manage POs, and coordinate with EC, Sales, QA, IT, and Logistics to ensure timely material availability and customer order accuracy.

You will develop staff, improve processes, and ensure compliance with company policies. A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in supply chain roles, ideally in semiconductors, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in relevant supply chain roles, with supervisory experience.
• Experience in semiconductor industry and ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing and order entry operations and ensure timely processing.
• Supervise Buyers I–III and manage PO placement and escalations.
• Analyze POs and MRP for accuracy; source alternative vendors as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (EC, Sales, QA, IT, Logistics).
• Improve processes and enforce department policies and training.
• Monitor SOM with reps, track shipments and backlogs.
• Support hiring, performance management, and scheduling.
