Job summary

The NYC Department of Transportation seeks a Research Assistant/Analyst in DOT ACCO's Office to support procurement and contract administration. You will assist management by coordinating data collection, testing vendor responsiveness, and preparing reports using PASSPort and city systems.

Responsibilities include quantitative analysis, monitoring vendor performance, preparing inquiries responses, and coordinating with city and state agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6 months of research experience involving data gathering, analysis and reporting.
• Associate degree with 60 credits and 2.5 years of related research experience or equivalent.
• HS diploma with 4.5 years of related data gathering and reporting experience.
• Education/experience substitutions per NYC guidelines acceptable if four-year degree/experience requirement is met.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor procurement and contract administration activities.
• Perform data collection and quantitative analysis on contracts and vendor performance.
• Utilize PASSPort and city systems for review, analysis, and processing of documentation.
• Prepare reports and respond to inquiries from multiple sources, including investigations into vendor performance.
• Coordinate with staff of NYC and NYS agencies and attend meetings with vendors and community outreach.
