Job summary

Heilind seeks a Quality and Procurement Support associate to aid sales, product, procurement, and warehouse teams in resolving product quality issues via vendor returns and corrective actions. Hybrid work arrangement in the United States is supported.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of procurement/quality/supply chain experience, with MS Office proficiency. ITAR considerations apply; on-site presence may be required at times. Heilind offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year minimum experience in procurement, quality assurance, or supply chain management role.
• Experience in Electronics Distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with suppliers’ quality departments and engineers to complete corrective and preventative actions to ensure we deliver the highest quality products to our customers.
• Notify warehouses and sales of vendor recalls/quality alerts and coordinate the return of all suspect products.
• Disposition of all non-conforming material in a timely manner and return to vendor for credit and/or replacement.
• Work with vendors, our warehouses, freight carriers and accounting departments to resolve invoice discrepancies, shortages, overages, and price variances.
• Help identify product to be returned on vendor stock rotation or scrap coordination with Inventory Control Analysis.
