Job summary

Heilind Electronics provides support across sales, product, procurement, and warehouse to resolve product quality issues through vendor returns and corrective action.

The role partners with supplier quality teams and engineers to drive corrective and preventative actions, coordinate vendor recalls, and ensure timely disposition of non-conforming material for credit or replacement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-year minimum experience in procurement, quality assurance, or supply chain management related role.
• Experience in Electronics Distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers’ quality departments and engineers on corrective and preventive actions.
• Notify warehouses and sales of vendor recalls/quality alerts and coordinate returns of suspect products.
• Disposit ion of all non-conforming material in a timely manner and return to vendor for credit and/or replacement.

Job Summary

Provides support for sales, product, procurement, and warehouse to resolve product quality issues through vendor returns and corrective action.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with our suppliers’ quality departments and engineers to complete corrective and preventative actions to ensure we deliver the highest quality products to our customers.
• Notify warehouses and sales of vendor recalls/quality alerts and coordinate the return of all suspect products.
• Disposition of all non-conforming material in a timely manner and return to vendor for credit and/or replacement.
• Work with vendors, our warehouses, freight carriers and accounting departments to resolve invoice discrepancies, shortages, overages, and price variances.
• Help identify product to be returned on vendor stock rotation or scrap allowance coordination with Inventory Control Analysis.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-year minimum experience in procurement, quality assurance, or supply chain management related role.
• Experience in Electronics Distribution preferred.

Skills And Requirements

• Must be able to report to assigned office location during scheduled in-office workdays.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Familiarity with procurement systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and quality management systems (QMS) preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and respond to urgent matters.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
