Job summary

Whitecap Search is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to manage Estimating for procurement projects, coordinating bidding processes, and ensuring alignment with business needs in New York. The ideal candidate has 5 years of Real Estate/Construction experience, Estimation expertise, advanced Excel skills, and a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering).

Qualifications

• 5 years of Real Estate/Construction experience.
• Estimation experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating end-to-end bidding processes and tracking milestones to ensure timely project execution.
• Conducting bid analyses and leading vendor negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms and service levels.
• Authoring and preparing comprehensive contract documentation in alignment with organizational standards and compliance metrics.
• Reviewing project scopes of work and technical specifications to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business needs.
• Identifying cost-saving and value engineering opportunities to reduce spend while maintaining quality.
• Driving and supporting strategic procurement initiatives across multiple business units.
• Serving as a primary point of contact between internal teams and external vendor partners to maintain an efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement workflow.
