Job summary

Jobtailor in Connecticut is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead end-to-end execution for NSSS commodities and projects. You will drive delivery of PO scope including fabrication, testing, documentation, and shipment, while guiding schedules and milestones and providing status updates to partners.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement or supply chain, with strong focus on supplier execution, lifecycle management, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or program management.
• 5+ years of experience with procurement lifecycle and supplier execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement execution for NSSS commodities or projects.
• Ensure delivery of all PO scope including fabrication, testing, documentation, and shipment.
• Guide adherence to project schedules, milestones, and commitments.
• Provide regular status updates to partners.
• Manage supplier delivery performance (schedule adherence, readiness).
• Lead supplier execution schedule including reviews and recovery planning.
• Ensure supplier readiness and prioritization of critical deliveries.
• Coordinate with SPE and Supplier Quality on oversight and issue resolution.
• Manage procurement risks across suppliers and scope.
• Guide mitigation and recovery plans.
• Communicate risks affecting project delivery.
• Support RFQ development, supplier selection, and ensure purchase requisitions are complete, aligned, and executable to support site execution.
• Lead post-PO execution including kickoff, submittals, and manufacturing understanding.
• Ensure completion of quality documentation and final delivery.
• Support change management and PO adjustments.
