Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Johns Creek, GA, seeks a skilled project manager to lead procurement and inventory initiatives end-to-end. You will drive scope, schedule, quality and budget, coordinating onsite and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include optimizing spare parts inventory with EOQ, ROP, Min/Max, PFEP, and ABC analysis, and integrating PFEP with IBM Maximo to ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related engineering/SCM field.
• Experience with inventory management and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and Maximo preferred.

Job description

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for Procurement and Inventory Management initiatives, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Manage project planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure activities in accordance with organizational standards.
• Manage and enhance spare parts inventory through inventory control methodologies such as EOQ, Reorder Point (ROP), Min/Max, PFEP, ABC analysis, FIFO, and 5S principles.
• Utilize SQL databases, Maximo Integration Framework, and reporting tools to support system configuration, data analysis, and process automation initiatives.
• Monitor inventory performance, consumption trends, stock turnover, and logistics activities; identify improvement opportunities and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to provide real-time visibility of inventory status, procurement activities, stock accuracy, and cost performance to stakeholders.
• Develop a Plan For Every Part (PFEP) template for spare parts and integrate it with existing systems like IBM Maximo to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inventory transactions for audit purposes.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, stakeholder discussions, and decision-making sessions.
• Oversee requirement gathering, solution design, testing, UAT, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Manage communication between onsite/customer and offshore delivery teams to ensure effective collaboration and timely execution.

The expected salary range for this position is between $58,000 to $1,05,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
