Job summary

Pacer Group in Columbus, Indiana seeks a proactive procurement associate to lead meetings, track project progress, and drive supplier management. You will coordinate POs, monitor milestones, and provide updates to leadership while ensuring records include part numbers, savings, owners, and approvals.

Open to candidates with a degree in supply chain management or related field, with 6 months to 1 year contract, Monday–Friday, onsite. In-person interviews will follow when ready.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in supply chain management or a related subject required.
• Experience with procurement processes and supplier management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently carries out sourcing activities with full consideration for the impact on the end-to-end supply chain.
• Executes sourcing tactics of varying complexity in accordance with category/commodity strategies.
• Participates in sourcing and commodity strategy formulation.
• Analyzes complex sourcing and purchasing initiatives to deliver cost effective, high-quality goods and services.
• Prepares and presents recommendations to senior leadership for improvements and alternative actions.
