Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) is seeking an Associate Director of Procurement Policy and Process to oversee and enhance procurement operations across North America.

The role reports to Senior Director, Corporate Services Sourcing and requires deep knowledge of S2P, regulatory compliance and supplier management. You will drive policy development, process improvements and performance metrics with IT, Finance, Legal and business partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of diverse procurement experience in multiple roles.
• Strong procurement operations and process management with ability to influence direction.
• Strategic thinker able to anticipate trends and plan for future needs.
• Excellent communication skills with business partners and stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of S2P processes, ERP systems, and procurement analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Embed regulatory risk and controls into purchasing processes with cross-functional partners.
• Identify and drive process improvements to optimize the end-to-end S2P cycle.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards for spend, performance and savings tracking.
• Lead knowledge-sharing and training for internal procurement teams and business partners.
