Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a detail-oriented professional to document and manage company purchasing commitments through PO processing. You will handle requisitions, convert them into POs, and oversee receiving and invoicing issues to ensure timely payments.

You will collaborate with purchasing, finance, and accounts payable, run RFPs, and maintain open PO data to support compliant procurement across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, accounting, economics or supply chain management preferred.
• 2–4 years of negotiations training and project management experience are preferred.
• Experience with PO types, requisitions, catalogs, punchouts, etc.
• Experience with RFx, supplier accountability, and supplier business reviews.

Responsibilities

• Document financial commitments via purchase orders and convert requisitions into POs.
• Manage POs for receiving, invoicing discrepancies, and payments to suppliers.
• Coordinate procure-to-pay with requestors, finance, and accounts payable.
• Create POs for purchases across contracts, catalogs, punchouts, etc.
• Maintain accurate open, past-due, and open-receiver PO lists.
• Oversee procure-to-pay process flow and monitor its effectiveness.
• Foster supplier and internal stakeholder relationships and run RFPs.
