Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Procurement Ops Specialist to support procurement operations, vendor onboarding, and the employee purchasing experience in our San Francisco office. You will manage helpdesk requests, coordinate contracts and purchase orders, and partner with Accounts Payable to unblock aged invoices.

You’ll also train users on procurement workflows and supporting tools, monitor intake against SLAs, and help drive automation across the procure-to-pay process in a fast-growing AI company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in procurement operations or procure-to-pay support.
• Experience supporting vendor onboarding, vendor data, contract coordination, and helpdesk requests.
• Deep familiarity with procurement tooling and a bias toward automation.
• Strong attention to detail on pricing, entities, categories, and records.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing operations: create and finalize purchase orders and changes.
• Vendor onboarding: collect information, review docs, maintain vendor profiles.
• Aged invoice resolution: assist AP to unblock invoices and follow up on POs.
• Contract signatures: route contracts and track approvals.
• Procurement helpdesk: triage requests and route to owners.
• Intake and service levels: monitor requests and meet SLAs.
• Training and systems support: train users on workflows and tools.
